Get to know me!
My name is TaÃs Stein and I am a creative creator based in Brazil. Even though I consider myself a "citizen of the world" I was born in the north, in a rainy city called Belém.
I've been making art my whole life as long as I can remember (oh yes, my oldest memories are all about a little kid with crayons and inks), but it was after I went to university to study Design and have access to incredible opportunities and the most varied references that my perception of both things has completely changed. For the best! For the recognition that - when worked together - the two areas can benefit well.
After a period as an exchange student at the York University - Toronto (where I studied fine arts and design) I returned to my hometown and graduated in 2015 - Bachelor degree in design
Since then, my professional path has been a journey - in which I have been through print shops, marketing agencies and the most fanciful personal projects - in search of aligning more and more my two areas of expertise and achieving good results, either through the solution of a design problem or translating an idea into a piece of art.
So we can agree that I am an Artist by nature and a Designer by career... yes?

Meu nome é TaÃs Stein e eu sou uma Creative Creator do Brasil. Ainda que eu me considere "cidadã do mundo" eu nasci - com muito orgulho - no norte, na cidade chuvosa de Belém.
Venho fazendo arte a vida inteira, desde que me lembro (oh, sim, as memórias mais antigas são de uma criancinha com giz de cera e tintas nas mãos), mas foi depois de ingressar na faculdade para cursar Design e ter acesso a oportunidades incrÃveis e referências das mais variadas
que a minha percepção sobre as duas coisas mudou por completo. Para melhor! Para o reconhecimento de que - quando trabalhadas em conjunto - as duas áreas podem se beneficiar bem.
Depois de um perÃodo como estudante intercambista na York University - Toronto (onde estudei belas artes e design) retornei para minha cidade natal e me graduei em 2015 - Bacharelado em Design.
De lá para cá meu caminho profissional tem sido uma jornada - na qual já passei por gráficas, agências e os mais fantasiosos projetos pessoais - em busca de alinhar mais e mais minhas duas áreas de atuação e chegar a bons resultados, seja através da solução de um problema de design ou da tradução de uma ideia em uma peça de arte.
